Ethics & Compliance

Human Rights Responsibility Statement

It is K-Tube Technologies’ (K-Tube) policy to comply with the laws and regulations applicable to K-Tube business activities around the world. Our Code of Conduct, developed by Cook Group Incorporated and adopted by K-Tube, addresses our corporate citizenship goals which include being a contributor to the communities where we reside, and acting with the highest integrity in business dealings.

K-Tube has a comprehensive Ethics & Compliance Program and is committed to ensuring that our global operations comply with our own internal policies relating to human rights and also with any legal requirements such as the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act and the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 where applicable.  We only source our raw materials from established US and European suppliers.

K-Tube continuously improves its processes of verification, audit, certification, internal accountability, and training to assess and ensure that suppliers comply with K-Tube’s human rights responsibility goals. While we engage third party providers as needed to help us with our efforts to ensure continuous improvement, we do not have a specific audit or third party verification process to determine if human trafficking and slave labor is part of our supply chain.  We are researching processes that will require certain suppliers, depending on the perceived risk, raw material, geography, and other relevant criteria, to provide this documented compliance in the future.

Verification: Select K-Tube suppliers are asked to verify they operate in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, governmental requirements and industry guidelines in the countries in which they operate.

Audits: K-Tube plans to monitor suppliers based on an assessment of the level of risk for slave labor, human trafficking practices or exploitation in the countries where the supplier operates.

Certification: Based on a risk assessment to include the material being sourced, K-Tube may request suppliers certify that materials incorporated into the product comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the countries in which they are doing business.

Internal Accountability: Noncompliance with our company Code of Conduct may result in corrective action or termination of the supplier relationship, depending on the extent and severity of noncompliance identified. We may work with suppliers to ensure corrective action plans resolve any instances of noncompliance.

Training: K-Tube employees receive Code of Conduct training. In addition, K-Tube is exploring training programs on human trafficking for employees that have direct responsibility for supply chain management.
