COVID-19 STATUS UPDATE

Since 1974, K-Tube has produced raw materials and components that enable medical devices and improve patient outcomes.  We take this responsibility seriously and share the same goals as our customers and suppliers: protect the health and safety of employees, maintain product supply, and prioritize work to ensure that patients receive the care they need.

We want you to know we are fully operational and have taken significant steps to protect our employees and anyone who needs to needs to enter our facility for essential services.  Our employees are trained to follow preventative measures directed by local health authorities and the World Health Organization (WHO).  In addition, we have implemented San Diego County’s “Social Distancing and Sanitation Protocol” which mandates safety signage at each entrance, masks, social distancing measures, physical barriers, hand sanitizer, and cleaning stations in frequently used locations.  We have also implemented a daily self-assessment and temperature screening for all employees.  

As we begin to allow limited, pre-approved facility visits, we are requiring everyone who enters to wear a mask and complete an assessment regarding international travel, common symptoms, and exposure to anyone that has been diagnosed with COVID-19.  In addition, all visitors are required to perform temperature screening.  We will not permit access to any visitor unless the questionnaire and temperature screening has been completed.
