Tubing
K-Tube uses a proprietary process of Laserwelding to manufacture tubing. Laserwelded tubing is cleaner, more concentric and, unlike other methods, contains no filler materials. The smaller heat-affected zone means the weld itself will not interfere with dimensional or visual requirements, which results in a smoother finish. Characteristics such as these make Laserwelded tubing a top choice among design engineers.

Fiber Optic
This technology consists of a forming mill and laser that encases fiber optic strands in stainless tubing. This armor or jacket is manufactured in continuous coil lengths of up to 25 kilometers and then attenuation tested for signal presence and continuity. With the addition of this new technology, K-Tube expects to incorporate other elements into the tubing during the welding process, such as wire, other tube alloys and other materials.
